Windsor Resident joins HealthReach Community Health Centers Governing Board of Directors

WATERVILLE – HealthReach Community Health Centers (HRCHC) President and CEO Connie Coggins is pleased to announce that Windsor resident Steve Ball has joined its Board of Directors. Steve retired as a U.S. Army Colonel after more than 27 years of Active Duty service. He graduated from high school and college in Maine, and has a Master of Arts in Asian Studies from Cornell University.

His Army career took him to Europe and to East and Southeast Asia. He was the U.S. student at the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College and commanded a battalion in Camp Zama, Japan.

Most recently Steve served as the U.S. Defense Attaché to Hanoi, Vietnam, 2002-2005. Upon retirement Steve returned to Maine and currently teaches at Erskine Academy in South China. He is married to Allane Brackett and they have two sons, Benjamin, 29 years, and Jonathan, 26 years. They have four grandchildren.

HRCHC is a system of eleven federally qualified, community-based health centers, and two dental centers, located in central and western Maine. Dedicated providers deliver high-quality, affordable primary medical care to underserved residents in over 80 rural communities. HealthReach is a private, non-profit organization with a 30-year history, funded by patient fees, grants and individual donations.
