New Doctor in Madison

Dr. Ferris is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he also completed an internal medicine internship and family practice residency.

Serving people—listening, learning, teaching, building, caring—has been important to Dr. Ferris for as long as he can remember. He has volunteered at a homeless shelter, helped inner-city children learn to read, visited with older people, and helped care for mentally retarded individuals. He feels he has gained more from these experiences than he has given.

“I realized how much in need our small world really is, and that one person volunteering his/her time can make a world of difference,” Dr. Ferris said.

Dr. Ferris is looking forward to making a difference among Madison Area Health Center patients of all ages: “I believe in treating the whole person, and making sure people get the care they need and deserve.”

Dr. Ferris also hopes his practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) will enhance the well-being of the Madison-area community.
